FastForward Credential Program

Program Information

Learn more advanced use of computer numeric control (CNC) milling machines. Topics include job management, quality control and inspection, process adjustment, safety and environment protection, applied mathematics, engineering drawing and sketches, metalworking theory and applied materials.

Upon completion, students are eligible to earn the CNC Mill II credential by successfully demonstrating skills and passing the written knowledge test offered by the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS).

Prerequisite: Earned CNC Mill Operations credential from NIMS.

Note: This credential program is the fourth in a series of six industry credentials for entry-level machining professionals.
