Dual Credit

Dual Credit refers to high school or homeschool students who are simultaneously enrolled in PVCC courses, either on campus or online. The college credits earned may count toward both high school or homeschool graduation requirements, as applicable. To participate, students must be at least 14 years old, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and demonstrate competency in Algebra I.

The steps to enrollment are included below.

  1. Apply online.
  2. Print and sign the Dual Credit Student Permission Form.
  3. Print and sign the Mature Content Waiver Form.
  4. Satisfy the Admission Criteria Course Placement. The criteria can be included in the Ask-an-Advisor Form.
  5. Reach out to an advisor by filling out the Ask-an-Advisor Form.
