Important Dates, Deadlines and Events
There are many important financial aid dates and deadlines throughout the academic year. It is important to know these dates so you can avoid penalties and access your financial aid in a timely manner.
In addition, the PVCC Financial Aid Office may hold workshops for current and prospective students on a variety of topics relating to the financial aid process. Please watch your student email and the calendar below for the dates & times of these workshops.

Academic Calendar

Dropping and Withdrawing from Classes
Speak with a financial aid advisor before dropping or withdrawing from class to discuss the potential impact it may have on your financial aid. More information can be found here. The dates to drop or withdraw from a course either with a refund or with a grade of W are listed below.

Bookstore Charge Period
You can use financial aid at the bookstore during the bookstore charge period. This begins approximately 7 days before the start of each semester. Check our website on using aid at the bookstore for more information.
