Who is eligible for the Great Expectations program?

Current and former foster youth are eligible to join the Great Expectations at PVCC program. This also included youth who were adopted from the foster care system and youth who were returned home to biological family or kinship care after being a part of the foster care system.

Are you eligible?

To be able to access the services provided by Great Expectations at PVCC you will need to complete the following:

  1. Complete the Great Expectations at PVCC Application.
     
  2. Schedule a new intake appointment with Great Expectations  Contact the Admissions and Advising Office at 434-961-6581.
     
  3. Obtain a foster care verification letter from the Department of Social Services (DSS) on their letterhead verifying your foster care status (history) and bring it to your GREX appointment. You may request DSS submit this letter directly to Great Expectations.
     
  4. Contact Great Expectations at PVCC directly if you have additional questions.
