Dual Credit

Dual Credit is the terminology used to refer to any high school or homeschool student concurrently taking PVCC classes at one of our campus locations or online.  The college credits obtained are then used to supplement the high school or homeschool graduation requirements, as applicable.  The steps to enrollment are included below.

  1. Apply online.
  2. Make an advisor appointment by filling out the Ask-an-Advisor Form.
  3. Print and sign the Dual Credit Student Permission Form (attachment below)
  4. Print and sign the Mature Content Waiver Form (attachment below)

 

ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR DUAL CREDIT STUDENTS

The PVCC Testing Center is currently closed due to Covid 19. There may be other ways to meet the dual credit admission criteria than what is listed below. An Admissions & Advising staff member can explain when responding to your advising appointment request (see step #2 above).
