Woodrow W. Bolick Advanced Technology and Student Success Center (The Bolick Center)
The Bolick Center
The Woodrow W. Bolick Advanced Technology and Student Success Center (The Bolick Center) is open. The new Center is named in honor of Woodrow W. Bolick, a founding PVCC College Board member.
The Bolick Center will serve as a vibrant hub for academic life, showcasing PVCC’s comprehensive commitment to student success. The space affords the consolidation of student on boarding and services in one modern, convenient location, to better serve students. The facility, is a net-zero energy building and is the first in the Virginia Community College System to use 100 percent alternative energy.
The building includes advanced manufacturing, robotics, cybersecurity and forensics labs, instructional spaces, administrative offices, a café and student meeting spaces. Advising and other student support services are housed in the new facility, providing everything students need to begin their journey at PVCC.
As a first step in fulfilling the vision of a central pedestrian campus landscape, the building serves as a new visual landmark from I-64 that showcases the College's commitment to education, workforce training and career development for the region.
