Virginia Black Bear Festival - 6/1 Sat @ 10am-4pm
The Geology Club will have an outreach table!
Graves Mill Hike - 6/7 @ 10am
We will meet on PVCC campus, in Lot 2 at 10:00am to arrange carpools.
Bring water, snacks/lunch, and dress for the weather!
(Possible swimming opportunity, prepare to bring a swimsuit & towel.)

Let us know if you need a ride, can drive a carpool, or will be meeting us at the trailhead.
Dogs allowed, on-leash. (However, if your doggo is curious about snakes, these are common and enjoy sunning themselves along the river banks.)
Red Wing Roots Music Festival - 6/20 - 6/23
The Geology Club will be hosting geology-themed programming for both kids and adults on Saturday, June 22.
Ivy Creek Geology Hike - 6/29 @ 10am
Lou will be hosting a public geology hike at Ivy Creek Natural Area!
Feel free to attend if you’re interested in learning more about the natural history of the area.

St. Mary’s Trail #500 Hike - 6/30 @ 10am
We will meet on PVCC campus, in Lot 2 at 10:00am to arrange carpools.
Bring snacks/lunch, water, and a swimsuit & towel as there will be an opportunity to swim at the end of the hike if you so choose.
There are some precarious stream crossings, so be prepared to get your feet wet!
