National Public Safety UAS Conference


Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) held the first National Public Safety Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) from Monday, Feb. 27, through Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Co-sponsored by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, the purpose of the summit was to demonstrate the use of drones in public safety, with speakers and panels on fire, search and rescue, and law enforcement.
