UVA Transfer Alliance Club

The purpose of the alliance is to directly distribute clear, accurate, and timely information to students enrolled at Piedmont Virginia Community College that have an interest in pursuing transfer to the University of Virginia. By providing intentional support, guidance, and engagement opportunities, the mission is to empower students to seek resources, explore interests, and develop educational goals early. As a result, students with continued interest feel equipped to put forth a competitive transfer application, and admitted students that choose to attend UVA feel prepared to leverage UVA resources to obtain their educational and professional goals.   Membership is open to all PVCC students that have any level of interest or curiosity about transferring to UVA. The alliance will connect members with resources and information to aid students in their efforts for upward transfer, however, engagement and investment in the content will be at the discretion of each member.

All clubs and organizations are open to all full- and part-time PVCC students with the exception of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Theta Kappa, which are both by invitation based on GPA.

This organization has members who are Piedmont Virginia Community College students and may have College employees associated with or engaged in its activities and affairs. These individuals are not spokespersons for the College but rather express their personal views.
