This three-day conference is for professionals in law enforcement, public safety, search and rescue, emergency services and disaster relief who are using or want to use UAS in their operations. 

Join us for three days of workshops, breakout sessions, networking events, and scenario demonstrations and trainings. 

This conference is not open to the general public and enrollment is limited to 200 people. 

Please note: Break-out session attendance is first-come/first-serve on the day of the conference.

About this year's conference:

This conference is for Public Safety Employees or Sponsored Employees only.

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) will hold the Fourth Annual Public Safety UAS Conference from Monday, March 2, through Wednesday, March 4, 2020. The purpose of the conference is to demonstrate the use of drones in public safety, with speakers and panels on fire, search and rescue, and law enforcement.

Crozet, VA is located half way between Charlottesville, VA and Waynesboro, VA.
Travel time from either city to King Family Vineyard is approximately 20 minutes.

Who Can Attend:

The conference is open to professionals in law enforcement, public safety, and search and rescue/emergency services/disaster relief. Attendance is limited to 185 participants with preference given to public safety, fire, rescue, law enforcement and other emergency or disaster response members or affiliated organizations.

How Much Does the Summit Cost?

  • $249 per person. Fee includes all meals during the three-day event and access to all training exercises, classes, product demonstrations and networking events.
  • Attendees are responsible for their own hotel accommodations and travel arrangements.
