Spring 2020 Semester In-State Tuition and Fees

  • Tuition = $155.00 per credit
  • Institutional fee = $1.75 per credit
  • Student activity fee = $2.90 per credit  

Spring 2020 Semester Out-of-State Tuition and Fees

$359.75 per credit hour  (See payment deadlines.)

  • Tuition = $331.60 per credit
  • Capital fee = $23.50 per credit
  • Institutional fee = $1.75 per credit
  • Student activity fee = $2.90 per credit

Note: Books and supplies are additional out-of-pocket expenses. Therefore, students must bring money for the purchase of books and supplies. These expenses should not be included with payments for tuition and other related expenses. Such expenses may range from $300 to $900 per semester, depending on a student's major and class load. 

Domicile (Residency) Requirements for In-State Tuition

To qualify for in-state tuition and fees at PVCC, you must be legally domiciled (live) in Virginia and have resided in Virginia for 12 continuous months prior to enrolling. See Residency Requirements.

Tuition and fees are subject to change by the State Board for Community Colleges.
