The Economics Club is a dynamic, student-run organization dedicated to providing unique opportunities for students to delve into the realms of economics beyond their conventional coursework. Functioning as a platform for intellectual exploration, the club aims to foster a deeper understanding of both national and international economic issues among its members. To realize this goal, the club actively organizes a series of engaging meetings and public events.

If you have a keen interest in economics and wish to be part of this enriching experience, we welcome you to join us. For further information or to express your interest, please contact Sushma Shukla, Associate Professor of Economics, at sshukla@pvcc.edu. Your participation is not only encouraged but valued as we strive to create an environment of shared learning and exploration within the field of economics.

We look forward to your involvement!

All clubs and organizations are open to all full- and part-time PVCC students with the exception of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Theta Kappa, which are both by invitation based on GPA.

This organization has members who are Piedmont Virginia Community College students and may have College employees associated with or engaged in its activities and affairs. These individuals are not spokespersons for the College but rather express their personal views.
