Piedmont Virginia Community College

Ethan is a firefighter, paramedic, and EMS educator. He has worked in the fire and EMS field for the last decade, working in aggressive and proactive EMS agencies. He is passionate about the mental health of first responders, as well as the advancement of the EMS education and field as a whole.

Augusta Health

Matt Coffey has been involved in fire and rescue for more than 25 years. As transportation coordinator and EMS liaison for Augusta Health, he has transformed the transportation department allowing Augusta Health the opportunity to transfer more patients and rely less on outside transport agencies. With his years of service in the field, he has also developed close ties with local EMS agencies, helping to foster a connection between EMS agencies and the hospital.
