College Senate
The Senate, as a legislative body of representatives, is responsible for the review of College policy and procedure and for making recommendations on such matters to the President or Vice Presidents. In doing so, the Senate serves as the official voice of the College. The members are representatives from each constituency and abide by the bylaws and constitution of the Senate.
The College Senate consists of seven standing committees:
- Administrative Services
- Community, Accessibility, Respect, and Empowerment (CARE)
- Curriculum and Instruction
- Information Technology
- Planning and Budgeting
- Student Services Committee
- Sustainability Committee
The Senate is committed to cooperation with associations and committees, honoring their proposals when presented by a senator or standing committee in the usual manner.
