Program Information
This career studies certificate is designed to prepare students for employment in a wide variety of human services settings and to update and enrich the capacities of those presently employed in the human services field. Graduates will have the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required for professional work in community service agencies and organizations. Students will also gain field experience through an internship.
Students accepted into the program will plan their coursework with the aid of the program coordinator or with the dean of the Division of Humanities, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences.
Occupational Objectives: Employment opportunities include positions in health care facilities, family and community services agencies and mental health support organizations.
