PVCC to Host Getting Started Information Sessions in February and March 2020

Charlottesville, Va. – January 27, 2020 – Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) has set February and March "Getting Started" information sessions for prospective students. Outreach Manager Denise McClanahan will introduce degree and certificate programs and provide information on placement tests, student services and other resources to help students get started at PVCC.

The sessions are free, open to the public, and do not require preregistration. Sessions are available at the dates, times and locations below:

  • Saturday, February 8: Piedmont Virginia Community College Main Campus (includes a tour), Charlottesville, Va., 10-11 a.m.
  • Monday, February 10: Crozet Library, Crozet, Va., 6-7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 11: Northside Library,  Charlottesville, Va., 6-7 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 5: Scottsville Library, Scottsville, Va., 6-7 p.m.
  • Monday, March 9: Nelson Memorial Library, Lovingston, Va., 6-7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 10: Louisa County Library, Mineral, Va., 6-7 p.m.
