PVCC to Hold Adjunct Faculty Open House – November 9
Charlottesville, Va. – November 3, 2021 – Piedmont Virginia Community College is holding an Adjunct Faculty Open House, Tuesday, November 9, from 4-7 p.m., at the PVCC Stultz Center for Business and Career Development. Individuals who are interested in making a difference in the lives of students and the community by sharing their knowledge and professional expertise as adjunct instructors are encouraged to attend.
The Open House provides a platform for those attracted to teaching at PVCC to meet with subject area Deans and administrative leaders in credit and workforce training programs. Participants should bring a résumé or curriculum vitae and be prepared to interview.
Adjunct faculty are needed in numerous positions in credit and workforce training programs, including: computer science, culinary arts, mathematics and nursing, as well as heavy equipment operation and skilled trades like plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
