PVCC to Hold Virtual Veterans Education and Transition Services Information Sessions

Charlottesville, Va. – March 30, 2020 – Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) will hold virtual Veterans Education and Transition Services (VETS) information sessions for new military students interested in using VA Educational Benefits at PVCC in summer and fall semester classes.

The information sessions will be held via “Zoom” on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on the following dates:

  • April 1, 2020
  • April 8, 2020
  • April 15, 2020
  • April 22, 2020
  • April 29, 2020

During the free sessions, participants will receive assistance with the application process for admissions and VA educational benefits. Important information about military exceptions for residency requirements, financial aid, career services, disability services and credit for prior learning will be covered.
