PVCC Youth Programs will cohost Annual 10th Grade Career Expo
Piedmont Virginia Community College Youth Programs is set to cohost the annual 10th Grade Career Expo at the DoubleTree in Charlottesville, Virginia, October 30 and 31, 2019. The expo, BizKid$ Career Pathways, is offered by KidsCollege at PVCC, UVA Community Credit Union, DoubleTree by Hilton, the Albemarle, Charlottesville, Greene, and Nelson County school systems, and local area employers.
Participating students will visit in time blocks from approximately 9 a.m.–1 p.m. each day and will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of career opportunities through interactive local employer exhibits. Attendees can gain a greater understanding of the financial consequences and economic impact of career and education training choices, thereby increasing the opportunity for future career success. Participants will have direct access to local business representatives and higher education and training representatives from the region.
