PVCC is hosting a series of free information sessions for the Central Services Technician program. Central services technicians provide a valuable service by ensuring that all equipment used in the hospital is properly decontaminated and sterilized.
PVCC’s program is only two semesters long and financial aid is available for qualifying students. The healthcare industry in Central Virginia is expected to continue to grow so this is a great time to learn more.
Information sessions will be held at the Keats Health Sciences Building in room K107 on PVCC’s main campus, located at 501 College Drive, Charlottesville. Session dates and times are listed below:
• April 25 at 2 p.m.
• May 8 at 12 p.m.
• June 4 at 10 a.m.
• July 17 at 4 p.m.
• August 1 at 12 p.m.
PVCC’s Central Services Technician program is made possible through generous support from the UVA Health System and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.
