Indie-folk band, The Hunts, to perform at PVCC on April 21

Piedmont Virginia Community College continues its 2017-18 Fine Arts and Performance Season with a performance by The Hunts on Saturday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Main Stage Theatre in the V. Earl Dickinson Building on PVCC’s Main Campus in Charlottesville.

The Hunts, an-indie-folk band made up of seven brothers and sisters, play a variety of instruments including the mandolin, piano, ukulele, banjo and drums. Ranging in age from 16 to 24, the siblings learned to sing and play violin as children and spent much of their youth performing throughout their community in Chesapeake, Va. After widening their following by playing at theaters and festivals around the country, The Hunts started experimenting with songwriting and soon brought to life a batch of songs that reveal their sophisticated sense of melody layered with enchanting harmonies and driving rhythms.

Ticket prices are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors and students. General seating tickets are available for purchase online at or by calling the PVCC Box Office at 434.961.5376 (major credit cards accepted). Tickets may also be purchased starting two hours prior to the performance at the PVCC Box Office, located in the lobby of the V. Earl Dickinson Building.

The V. Earl Dickinson Building is located at the south end of 501 College Drive. Ample, free parking is located in front of the building and the facility is wheelchair accessible.
