Jennifer Koster, professor of English, has been named Faculty of the Month for November by students in PVCC’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. The initiative recognizes those faculty members who go above and beyond in their service to the PVCC community.
Why She Was Selected:
"Professor Koster was the best teacher I've ever had," said one PVCC student. "Besides being passionate about her job, she is always willing to help her students in any way that she can. Professor Koster engaged her students in relevant discussions, integrated great constructive feedback into her classes and constantly brought treats to class. Her assignments and projects were always interesting and innovative, challenging students' views and encouraging intellectual growth. After taking Professor Koster’s class, I found that my English writing skills improved dramatically. Every time I talk to someone considering taking English Composition at PVCC, I recommend her class. Thank you for your hard work, Professor Koster, it does not go unnoticed!"
