PVCC Presents Contemporary Ballet Dance Master Class Oct. 13

Charlottesville, VA - Piedmont Virginia Community College continues its Dance Master Class series with a contemporary ballet class taught by Audrey Fenske, resident choreographer for Charlottesville Ballet's 2012-2013 season. The class is from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Main Stage Theatre of the V. Earl Dickinson Building. Cost of the class is $10 per participant.

The class will incorporate elements of classical ballet technique, modern dance and improvisation. Participants should have some prior dance experience, be dressed comfortably and come ready to move.

Fenske graduated from Duke University with a major in dance and has trained with the Houston Ballet, BalletMet Columbus and the award-winning performance company Pilobolus. She performed professionally with Durham, NC based company Gaspard&Dancers and her choreography has been featured in various national venues.
