PVCC Theatre Presents 'A Year With Frog and Toad'

Charlottesville, VA - Piedmont Virginia Community College will present "A Year With Frog and Toad," a musical by Robert and Willie Reale, April 6-7 and 13-14 at 7:30 p.m. and April 7 and 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the Main Stage Theatre in the V. Earl Dickinson Building. General admission tickets are $10 adults, $6 senior/students and $4 ages 12 and under.

The well-loved characters of Arnold Lobel's stories hop from page to stage in this Tony-nominated musical for the whole family. Remaining true to the spirit of the original stories, the show follows two great friends (the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad) through four, fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, celebrate Christmas and learn life lessons along the way.

PVCC students Lisa Weigold and Sam Everett play Frog and Toad. Walter Bullard, Hannah Gardner, Laura Marden, Hannah Marshall, Dominique Ross and June Troyer play Birds, Moles, Lizard, Mouse and a family of frogs.
