LGBTQ+ Club

LGBTQ+ Club advisors sitting at their club table on Club Day. The table is decorated with a Progress Flag and they have stickers and pins laid out on the table.

The LGBTQ+ club works to foster a sense community between all PVCC students and to increase awareness of the lives and issues faced by people with diverse sexualities and gender identities. We participate in outreach to the LGBTQ+ community at large and work to create a safe atmosphere with PVCC and surrounding communities.

All clubs and organizations are open to all full- and part-time PVCC students with the exception of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Theta Kappa, which are both by invitation based on GPA.

This organization has members who are Piedmont Virginia Community College students and may have College employees associated with or engaged in its activities and affairs. These individuals are not spokespersons for the College but rather express their personal views.
