The French Club is dedicated to bringing about a greater appreciation for the French language and French culture. To this end, the main mission of the club is to aid students in their learning of French, as well as to provide an environment for them to enjoy all things French. No prior knowledge of French is needed and native French speakers are encouraged to join.

All clubs and organizations are open to all full- and part-time PVCC students with the exception of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Theta Kappa, which are both by invitation based on GPA.

This organization has members who are Piedmont Virginia Community College students and may have College employees associated with or engaged in its activities and affairs. These individuals are not spokespersons for the College but rather express their personal views.
