Actress, author and educator Morgan McCoy’s riveting one-woman show takes the audience on a dramatic journey from 1600’s Africa to present day United States through the stories of twelve distinct characters who collectively weave a rich history of African-American women’s experiences. Iconic figures such as Rosa Parks, Coretta Scott King, Michelle Obama and more are portrayed along with fictional characters that illuminate the strength, resilience and achievements of African-American women–despite obstacles that stood in their way.
