Documentary Filmmaking Workshop with Ty Cooper

Ty Cooper guides aspiring filmmakers through the process of transforming stories into compelling and cohesive films, from developing an initial idea to editing the final cut. 

Drawing on his extensive experience, Cooper will share techniques for everything from funding a project to gathering visual elements that support the narrative while participants gain familiarity with the technology that makes it all possible.  

Cooper is a Charlottesville-based novice filmmaker turned award-winning professional. He is an entertainment promoter, writer and the creative director of Lifeview Marketing and Visuals.

Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch.
