Community Connections: Creative Pathways to Understanding
Opening Reception: Friday, January 30, 5 - 7 p.m., with remarks at 6 p.m. and interactive elements throughout.
The PVCC Visual Arts Department and UVA’s Center for Health Humanities and Ethics present a special exhibition showcasing diverse voices and perspectives with a collection of artworks made possible through the work of local organizations that offer creative access and artmaking spaces for all.
Participating organizations include The Arc of the Piedmont, Innisfree Village, On Our Own, Bennett’s Village, Empowered Players, Nettle Shirt Puppet Works, FusionLab, and The Recovery Model Art Project.
The PVCC Gallery is located on the 3rd floor of the V. Earl Dickinson Building. Hours are Monday through Thursday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is also open during all evening performances that are part of the PVCC Fine Arts and Performance season. Ample free parking is available in Lot 4.
