Endowments, Scholarships and Named Funds
Endowments
Endowed funds are donor-established investment accounts created to offer lasting financial support to PVCC students, faculty, departments and programs. Named endowments can recognize an individual or organization, area of study, or someone a donor wishes to honor in perpetuity. Learn more about endowments.
Scholarships
The PVCC Educational Foundation manages more than 75 scholarship funds. Scholarships in any form or size make a positive and meaningful impact. They not only lessen the financial burden for students, but also serve as a tangible reminder that others believe in their future. In the last five years, the Foundation is proud to have awarded more than $1 million in scholarships and financial assistance to deserving students. Gifts can be made to support existing scholarships, award one-time scholarships, or create endowed scholarships. Learn more about scholarships.
Named Funds (Annually Supported Funds)
Donors may also establish annually supported funds, such as student awards and scholarships. These restricted funds are distributed in amounts based on the donor’s current annual contributions and depend on recurring yearly contributions from the donor for continuance.
