Identity Verification: In order to provide a safe and secure learning environment, admission to our college requires that all new credit applicants verify their identity. Applicants will need access to a computer or mobile device that has a camera in order to provide a real-time photo of themselves (Liveness Check) and upload a photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, ID Card, etc.).

Do I need to send my high school transcript to PVCC?
No. High school transcripts are not required for admission to PVCC, so please do not send high school transcripts to the Admissions Office or the Registrar’s Office.

When would I need to show proof of high school graduation?
You may need to confirm your high school completion only if you are selected for financial aid verification.

How will I know if I’m selected for verification?

  • You will get a notice in your SIS Message Center

  • You will receive an email with instructions

  • Your to-do list in SIS will show which documents are needed

  • You will also see a verification notice at the end of your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the U.S. Department of Education

  • For steps on how to submit proof, visit the PVCC Financial Aid Verification Forms page

Students pursuing degrees and career studies certificates

PVCC provides affordable, high-quality educational programs and a variety of financial support options, including financial aid services, scholarships, payment plans, and veteran benefits like the GI Bill.

Please be aware that your class enrollment is not confirmed until you pay by the posted deadline. If you fail to pay all tuition and fees by this deadline, you risk having some or all of your classes dropped.

However, if your awarded scholarships or other financial aid cover the full amount of your tuition and fees, the payment deadline does not apply. If your financial aid only covers part of your tuition and fees, you must pay the remaining balance online or in-person to avoid having your classes dropped.
