Testing Information

CVS: Visit the CVS website to schedule your COVID-19 test.

Insurance: Patients with insurance should not have any out-of-pocket costs for a covered COVID-19 test, but you should check with your health plan to confirm before scheduling a test. If you have health insurance, you must bring your card with you to the test site.
Without Insurance: If you do not have insurance, we will ask you for your Social Security number (card not needed), driver's license or state ID to submit the cost of your test to the federal program for the uninsured. All other care will be the student’s responsibility.
COVID-19 rapid result test $120 (hours)
COVID-19 basic assessment and specimen collection $39 (2 to 3 days)

Rite Aid: COVID testing for ages 13 and up. Visit the Rite Aid website to schedule an appointment.

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital: COVID-19 testing is available for individuals who display symptoms at our Sentara physician offices and Sentara Emergency Rooms. The Sentara physician offices and Sentara Emergency Rooms are only testing for COVID-19 following a medical professional's evaluation of your symptoms.

Walgreens: Walgreens is offering no-cost, contactless COVID-19 testing for patients age 3 and up at select locations. You may not have out-of-pocket costs if you are using insurance, voucher, or if you are eligible for no-cost testing according to federal or state guidelines.
