Today in the Charlottesville region there are 12,024 families that do not earn enough income to meet the costs of survival. That is nearly one out of every five families (19%) in our community. Most are single mothers and their children. PVCC built the Network2Work @PVCC program to move these 12,024 families to income independence and break the cycle of multi-generational poverty. 

Network2Work @PVCC's Program identifies struggling families through a Peer Network, connects them to quality jobs through an Employer Network, and supports them through a Provider Network. Network2Work @PVCC is focused on lifting 4,000 families out of poverty over the next eight years.
