Getting Started Information Sessions | Held Year-Round at Various Locations
PVCC offers free Getting Started Information Sessions at locations around Charlottesville and the nearby counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. Sessions are held several times each month and feature information about PVCC programs of study, financial aid, placement testing, and more.
CAMPUS TOURS & INFORMATION SESSIONS
PVCC's Admissions & Advising Center offers bi-monthly campus tours twice a month for prospective students and community members who are interested in learning more about PVCC. Sessions are held on the first Friday of every month, from 9 to 11 a.m., and on the third Thursday of every month, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

HOME SCHOOLER INFORMATION SESSIONS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS & FAMILIES: MARCH 22
Piedmont Virginia Community College will host an information session for prospective home-schooled students and their families on Thursday, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., in room M229 (Auditorium) in the Main Building on PVCC’s Main Campus at 501 College Drive in Charlottesville.
During the session, attendees will hear from PVCC faculty, home-schooled students and parents of home-schooled students, all of whom will discuss their experiences at PVCC and answer questions. In addition, the program will include information about taking classes while completing a home school curriculum, or after home schooling.
Other discussion topics include enrolling in classes, placement testing, transfer information and the KidsCollege Summer Career Academies at PVCC.

SUPER FAFSA SATURDAYS: GET HELP FILLING OUT YOUR FAFSA FOR THE 2018-19 ACADEMIC YEAR
PVCC offers free workshops on how to fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Workshops are open to everyone–even those not attending PVCC. Make sure to bring you and/or your parent(s) 2016 tax information. No appointment necessary.
