PVCC kicked off the first week of fall classes with a jam-packed welcome week. Thank you to everyone who joined in for all the fun activities and events. Here's to a great semester and making the most of every week, Panthers! 

PVCC associate professor of geology Callan Bentley co-led a group of twelve college students on a great adventure through the waters of coastal Alaska this summer. STEMSEAS, a federally funded initiative, selected Bentley along with Georgia Tech professor of biology Joseph Montoya to lead the expedition.

Piedmont Virginia Community College is expanding. It’s opening the Woodrow W. Bolick Advanced Technology and Student Success Center. The Center will serve as a new hub for academic life at PVCC. It’s a place for students to get hands-on experience for tech-related jobs so when the time comes to graduate, they will be ready for the workforce.
