Math Tutoring
You can get one-on-one assistance in the First Quadrant from PVCC faculty and math tutors in the following courses:

- Mathematics-based courses such as physics, chemistry and some nursing courses

Computer Software
Use the computers in the First Quadrant to work on your math skills. The following computer software can help you:
- Geometers Sketch Pad - Helps with graphing and geometry topics
- 3D-Grapher - Ties equations to 3-dimensional drawings
- ModuMath
First Quadrant Hours
Regular Semester Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Exam week:
The First Quadrant will be open for students to use the computers for normal hours, from 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tutoring will operate on a more limited schedule, as below:
Tuesday, 30th - Thursday 2nd, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, May 3rd - 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 4th, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Monday, May 6th-Wednesday, May 8th - 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Summer Hours May 20 - July 30
First Quadrant: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tutoring: Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tutoring appointments are also available for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science and Nursing.
