Off-campus Instructions

If you have a computer with Internet access, you can use library databases, even when you are not on campus. Some databases (e.g. EBSCO) restrict access to PVCC faculty, staff and current students. To log in to a restricted database off campus, you will need to enter your MyPVCC username and password.

Don't know your username or password?

Your username may be the combination of your first initial, last name and a four-digit number, or it may be a combination of initials and digits. If you need to look up your username or reset your password, click here. You will need to enter your name, birthday and social security number.

If you attempt to access a database from work or another private network, the connection may be blocked. You may need administrative privileges in order to change the security settings on your computer. Please contact the Help Desk if you need assistance.

If you have difficulty accessing any library resource from off campus, please fill out this form. You will be prompted to enter your MyPVCC username and password.
