BUS 100 - Introduction to BusinessPresents a broad introduction to the functioning of business enterprise within the U.S. economic framework. Introduces economic systems, essential elements of business organization, production, human resource management, marketing, finance, and risk management. Develops business vocabulary. Lecture 3 hours per week.
ECO 201 - MacroeconomicsIntroduces macroeconomics including the study of Keynesian, classical, monetarist principles and theories, the study of national economic growth, inflation, recession, unemployment, financial markets, money and banking, the role of government spending and taxation, along with international trade and investments. Lecture 3 hours per week.
ECO 202 - MicroeconomicsIntroduces the basic concepts of microeconomics. Explores the free market concepts with coverage of economic models and graphs, scarcity and choices, supply and demand, elasticitys, marginal benefits and costs, profits, and production and distribution. Lecture 3 hours per week.
MKT 100 - Principles of MarketingPresents principles, methods, and problems involved in marketing to consumers and organizational buyers. Discusses problems and policies connected with distribution and sale of products, pricing, promotion, and buyer motivation. Examines variations of marketing research, legal, social, ethical, ecommerce, and international considerations in marketing. Lecture 3 hours per week.
