Courses: 

  • MTT 1 - Developmental Mathematics I
    Covers mathematics topics in a technology-based setting to prepare students for the study of college level mathematics courses and curricula. Designed for the study of one developmental math unit prescribed by the student's placement test results. Credits not applicable toward graduation.
  • MTH 157 - Elementary Statistics
    Presents elementary statistical methods and concepts, including descriptive statistics, estimation, hypothesis testing, linear regression, and categorical data analysis. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 157 and MTH 240. Prerequisite Competency in MTE 1 through 5 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests, or by satisfactorily completing the required MTE units or SAT score greater than or equal to 510 or ACT score greater than or equal to 19. Lecture 3 hours per week.
  • MTH 152 - Mathematics for the Liberal Arts II
    Presents topics in functions, combinatorics, probability, statistics, and algebraic systems. Also covers topics in plane geometry. Prerequisites Competency in MTE 1 through 5 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests, or by satisfactorily completing the required MTE units or SAT score greater than or equal to 510 or ACT score greater than or equal to 19. Lecture 3 hours per week.
