ASG is an independent, non-profit agency dedicated to serving the citizens of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson and the city of Charlottesville since 1986. ASG's mission is to provide emotional and practical support to people living with HIV/AIDS, their families, friends and loved ones, prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS epidemic by educating the community and promote a compassionate, informed community response to all people affected by HIV/AIDS.
ASG is in need of volunteers with computer software skills such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher, to train staff members and help with ASG projects. They also need help with Data Entry, Web Design and experience creating brochures and posters. ASG is always in need of volunteers for various activities such as fundraisers, AIDS walk, the Charlottesville Creative Auction, the Buddy Program and numerous other activities.
