Graphic Design
Career Studies Certificate
Purpose: This program is designed to provide the professional background and skills in graphic design for entry-level position graphic communication and graphic design.
Occupational Objectives: Advertising and business design, graphic design, web-page design, graphic artist, graphic design technician, and other related fields.
Admission Requirements: In addition to meeting the admissions requirements established by the College, students must take PVCC placement tests in reading and English or submit documentation to the registrar that would exempt them from placement tests such as SAT/ACT/or AP scores.
Program Requirements: Students must satisfactorily complete all general education and computer graphics program requirements and work with Counseling Center and the graphic design faculty advisor to plan the curriculum after the first semester.
