AUT 156 Small Gasoline Engines (3 cr, IR)
Studies small gasoline engine operating principles, construction, design, variety, and their many purposes. Gives instruction on two-cycle and four-cycle small gas engines, their construction, design, fuel system, ignition system, and lubricating systems. Demonstrates disassembly, reconditioning, overhaul and re-assembly in the lab.
Lecture 1-2 hours.
Laboratory 2-3 hours.
Total 3-5 hours per week.
