Richmond Ballet

The State Ballet of Virginia will perform Misa Criolla, a choreographic interpretation of the renowned choral work by Ariel Ramirez which expresses the profession of our inner faith and the triumph of the human spirit; Argentine choreographer Mauricio Wainrot's Voyages (2008), which blends world music and contemporary ballet; and Violin (2006) by Val Caniparoli, which represents neoclassicism at its best.
The Richmond Ballet on Tour is made possible through the generous support of Dominion Resources and special funding by the U.S. Congress for the National Endowment for the Arts and the Virginia Commission for the Arts, with additional support from the Virginia General Assembly. This class is taught by Malcolm Burn, artistic associate and ballet master for the Richmond Ballet. The class is open to dance students with at least one year of training in ballet.

PVCC Spring Dance Concert
All tickets $5. General seating.
PVCC's dance program presents a concert of original works developed by students and faculty throughout the year. The program will be a mixture of class work, student choreography and faculty collaborations. An audience discussion follows the performance. Seating in the Maxwell Theatre (Black Box) is limited. No late seating.
