Spring 2010 Registration begins November 21 for newly admitted transfer students.

ODU is now accepting non degree applications for Spring 2010 and degree seeking applications for Summer/Fall 2010.

The School of Nursing has received notice of accreditation of its BSN and MSN programs by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE) for a term of 10 years with no compliance concerns.  This recognition is reflective of the hard work, innovation, and continuing dedication of the entire nursing faculty to ensure that students receive a quality education in nursing at Old Dominion University. Special thanks is extended to Dr. Richardean Benjamin, former Chair of the School of Nursing, for her leadership and guidance during the accreditation process, as well as to countless students, faculty, and  community leaders and colleagues who affirmed the quality of our programs, and extolled the accomplishments of our graduates.

Through Old Dominion University's partnership with Piedmont Virginia Community College, students can complete:

  • Associate of Applied Science in Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)
  • Master of Science in Nursing (choose from 5 specializations)
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (for advanced practice nurses)

This is a tremendous opportunity for PVCC and ODU to positively impact the citizens of Charlottesville/Albemarle.
