Charlottesville, Va. – Registration is under way now for the fall 2014 semester at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Classes begin Thursday, Aug. 21.
Online registration is available 24/7 at www.pvcc.edu. On-campus assistance is also available in PVCC’s Admissions and Advising Center, located in room M144 of PVCC’s Main Building. Summer hours through Aug. 8 are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Beginning Aug. 11, the hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday.
New students are encouraged to complete and submit the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov by Friday, Aug. 1. Applications can be submitted after Aug. 1, but aid processing could be delayed.
Beginning this fall, PVCC launches a new Career Studies Certificate in Entrepreneurship. This program can be completed in two semesters of study.
