Charlottesville, VA - The Piedmont Virginia Community College Theatre Department will present Chance, a comedic play by Jason Averett, Nov. 15-17 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre (Black Box) in the V. Earl Dickinson Building. General admission tickets are $5.
Chance tells the story of a group of college friends and their struggles with mistaken identity, misplaced romance and missing laundry. Written by Brooklyn-based University of Virginia graduate Jason Averett, this world premiere production of Chance is directed by Doug Grissom, associate professor of playwriting at U.Va.
Current and former PVCC students star in the play. The cast includes Aimie (Yana) McLaughlin, Bradley Carter, Taylor (Clams) Thomas, Darlene Sacco, Ian Wendell, James Fredericks, Madhuri Bertram, Paulina Wolinska and Shaquille Quille. The stage crew includes Mary Hedges, Manuel Alvizo and Tyger Anderson.
