Charlottesville, VA - Larnell Starkey and The Spiritual Seven return to Piedmont Virginia Community College Saturday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Stage Theatre of the V. Earl Dickinson Building. Tickets to the event are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.
Known as the "Gospel Temptations," Larnell Starkey and The Spiritual Seven is made up of brothers, sons and cousins who are all members of the Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Wirtz, Va. Their music blends traditional gospel with contemporary sounds and showcases the group's vocal harmonies from high-flying falsettos to the deep rich sounds of the low bass. For more than 40 years, this award-winning ensemble has shared the gospel through music for people of all denominations.
Tickets for Larnell Starkey and The Spiritual Seven are available by calling the PVCC Box Office at 434.961.5376 and charging them to a VISA or MasterCard, or by purchasing them at Plan 9 Music, Sidetracks or the University of Virginia Arts Box Office at 109 Culbreth Road in Charlottesville. Tickets can also be purchased at the PVCC Box Office window two hours before the performance.
The Dickinson Building is located at the south end of College Drive, and ample, free well-lit parking is located in front of the building. The Main Stage Theatre offers comfortable and spacious seating and is wheelchair and stroller accessible. All ages are welcome.
