Journal Articles and Books
Literature Resource Center has critical analysis, biographical information and bibliographies of authors and their works.
EBSCO provides citations and abstracts or the full text of articles.
MLA International Bibliography provides access to more than 1.5 million bibliographic citations to journal articles, books and dissertations from 1963 to the present in academic disciplines including language, literature, literary theory and criticism, folklore, linguistics and the dramatic arts.
First Search has databases that can be searched for citations to journals and books. A database relevant to Theatre is Arts and Humanities Search.
Project Muse is a database with full-text journals, including theatre journals.
English Verse Drama Database is a full-text database for the period 1300 to 1900 with access by author and searchable by a word or phrase.

Southeast Theatre Conference provides services and educational programs for individuals and organizations engaged in theatre in the southeast United States.
Dramatists Play Service, Inc. is the Web site for the best-known theatrical licensing agency. Has useful search capabilities and allows ordering and applying for licenses online.
