Journal Articles and Books
First Search has databases that can be searched for citations to journals and books.

PsycARTICLES is a database of full-text, peer-reviewed, scholarly and scientific articles about psychology. The database contains more than 40,000 articles from 53 journals, 45 of which the American Psychological Association publishes and eight that are from allied organizations.

PsycINFO is an American Psychological Association database. It contains more than 2 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as the 1800s.

High Wire Press has 11 scientific journals, including the Journal of American Psychiatry, with full text available online. In addition, High Wire Press has free links to many other full-text journals. Search by category.

Access Science has more than 7,000 articles covering a wide range of science topics, as well as a science dictionary and biographies of scientists. Search by keyword or topic.

Annual Reviews provides systematic, periodic examinations of scholarly advances in science and social science through critical authoritative reviews.

Wiley InterScience provides access to full-text articles.

Reference Works
Gale Encyclopedia of Psychology covers the entire spectrum of psychology, including notable people, theories and terms, landmark case studies and experiments, applications of psychology in advertising, medicine and sports, and career information.
