Remote Access Instructions

If you have a computer with Internet access, you can use library databases, even when you are not on campus. The database links are found on the library home page in the "Find Resources" section. Some databases, including InfoTrac and First Search, restrict access to PVCC faculty, staff and current students. To log in to a restricted database, you will need to enter your MyPVCC username and password.

Don't know your username or password?

Your username may be the combination of your first initial, last name and a four-digit number, or it may be a combination of initials and digits. If you need to look up your username or reset your password, click here. You will need to enter your name, birthday and social security number.

Access to the databases is through a proxy server. If you attempt to access a database from work or another private network, the connection may be blocked. You must have administrative privileges on the computer you are using in order to change these settings.

If your computer has high security settings or does not save cookies, you will have to change its current settings. Please contact the Help Desk if you need additional assistance.
